Legal Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer (buying for purposes outside your trade or profession), you have a legal right of withdrawal under EU and Dutch distance-selling rules. You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day on which you (or a person you nominate) receive the goods, without giving any reason. This policy explains how to exercise that right and our voluntary satisfaction commitment beyond it.

Our Satisfaction Promise

At Yluzarinouzelei, we take pride in every handcrafted piece we create. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return policy in line with the law.

Return Period

You may return most items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In its original condition, unused and undamaged
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

Under EU/Dutch law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. Our policy also excludes from return:

  • Custom or personalized pieces made to your specifications (no legal right of withdrawal)
  • Items that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Sale items marked as final sale

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us at contactuse@yluzarinouzelei.world within 14 days of receiving your item
  • Include your order number and reason for return
  • We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization
  • Package the item securely in its original packaging
  • Ship the item to our Amsterdam studio

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items over €100.

Refund Process

In accordance with EU and Dutch consumer law, we will reimburse you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal (or evidence that you have sent the goods back). Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back. Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • We will notify you of the status of your refund within 3 business days
  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within the 14-day legal deadline
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different piece, please initiate a return and place a new order. This ensures the fastest processing time for your exchange.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at contactuse@yluzarinouzelei.world with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs.

Handmade Variations

Please note that all our items are handcrafted, which means slight variations in color, texture, and size are natural and expected. These variations are part of the unique character of handmade goods and are not considered defects.
